What you see here is the first wedding invitation that I’ve fully designed. I just got mine in the mail yesterday, which is a pretty good sign that Angie doesn’t hate it to the point of uninviting me T-T

Names and personal addresses are hidden for obvious reasons. Angie made the trip to Bridal Veil (a town in Oregon) just for their hand cancellation service. They have a post office dedicated to wedding mail!
I don’t mind you using the design for your own project but please ask before you use any of the illustrations, like the bird frame, map, cabin, pine cones, etc. These are all copyrighted and commercial use without permission will not be tolerated.

Since moving to Portland, I somehow accumulated a growing number of great company. Wonderful people who, in spite of my lack of financial success and established career, have made me feel more rich and fulfilled than I ever had before in my lifetime. And this June 24th, these wonderful people and gathered with my wonderful boyfriend and me at EaT Oyster Bar to celebrate my 31st birthday.

hazardously spicy oyster shooters
The oyster shooters were beyond spicy; they were nuclear. It took us the entire dinner to finish each shooter.

My take on the Joseph Ducreux meme. I was making silhouette frames and wanted to put one to good use.

I have tried a few waterproof and smudgeproof eye liners but they don’t work. I also tried a powder (w/eye brush that looks like a small paintbrush) and liquid liner (that one was VERY difficult to use and I had to give it away because I had so much trouble with it). I wonder maybe if my eyes are just too squinty when I laugh that it’s like my lids are rubbing each other so my makeup comes off/smears.

I have a huge problem with smudgy eyeliners, too. Because of the way my upper eyelids bulge out, the part with the eyeliner tends to roll in and smear all over. I had to give up on drugstore brand liquid liners because they took too long to dry and smeared horribly.
I’ve been through quite a trial myself and the types that seem to work best for me are the gel or cream eyeliners that come in little jars and are applied with angled or pointed brushes. I’ve only tried two so far and I haven’t needed to find anymore as these guys are lasting me a long time and work really well.
MAC Fluidline Gel Eyeliner
Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Eyeliner
Another great alternative I have heard about is this one:

Wet 'n Wild Mega Eyes Créme Eyeliner
I use a stiff angled eyeliner brush from EcoTools that seems to work pretty well.
Do any of you have recommendations for Kim on smudge-proof eyeliners? Please share!
