Shoes: Should Comfort Compromise Looks?

I’ve been wearing my Crocs Adrina flats all summer long and my feet have not been sweaty at all. The jelly material is so light and soft, so it doesn’t scrape against my skin. These are seriously the best shoes I’ve ever had for the summer. They don’t flip-flop like… like flip-flops < .<;;; So, they don't affect my walk, either. I can walk all over the place in these and I feel great. I'm still considering getting another pair.

Getting coffee at Crema, one of our favorite spots to sip and work. I wear these Crocs EVERYWHERE and I get compliments on them all the time.

Reset Weight Goals: Back on Track!

My weight had stagnated at 135 since the winter holidays and, even though I wasn’t happy about it, I was only putting in half the effort. I still worked out regularly but I was eating almost anything and everything I wanted. Thankfully, the workouts kept me from gaining anymore weight.

However, when July followed my birthday week with patriotic holidays, visits from friends and barbecues, the numbers slowly started creeping back up. So, I’m back on track. I’ve reset my goal to something smaller and short-term, with the intention of pushing it again once I reach that goal. This helped me go from 136 to 133 in a week. I think I’m also tired of eating all that decadent Portland food. It’s been much easier to stay on a strict diet.

I’ll still enjoy my summer with cheat days and lots of sun. I just won’t let it clog my arteries.

My Very First Fully Designed Wedding Invitation

What you see here is the first wedding invitation that I’ve fully designed. I just got mine in the mail yesterday, which is a pretty good sign that Angie doesn’t hate it to the point of uninviting me T-T

Names and personal addresses are hidden for obvious reasons. Angie made the trip to Bridal Veil (a town in Oregon) just for their hand cancellation service. They have a post office dedicated to wedding mail!

I don’t mind you using the design for your own project but please ask before you use any of the illustrations, like the bird frame, map, cabin, pine cones, etc. These are all copyrighted and commercial use without permission will not be tolerated.
