Wonderful memories were made in 2012 and I look forward to making more in 2013.
One of the greatest ways the Internet has contributed to my life is all the wonderful friends I’ve made. These are friends I would never have met if not for the world wide web and some of them have become so close to me that I can no longer imagine my life without them. Some, I have known for maybe a year. Others, I’ve known for more than ten.
Cookiemonster from Atlanta and Isis from LA hang out with me in Portland and LA.
Wuzzyangel, Yeobocakes and I ate so much food in Oahu that we no longer remembered to keep our mouths closed.
Cookiemonster visited again and I took her to Hood River to see the vineyards, orchards and the Columbia River Gorge.
My fiancé (yes, he’s still my fiancé) has worked very hard to make our lives much more comfortable and fulfilled. I’ve barely been able to make a contribution on the other hand and hope to have more to offer to the household in 2013. This year, there were lots more weekend trips together, both alone and with family, to vineyards, beaches and other towns and cities. There were more concerts and shows. We also spent two weeks in Hawai’i, visiting his mother and enjoying all the sights of Oahu.

I regret nothing that has already happened but I do regret that I didn’t take more pictures. This year, I hope to take more pictures of every memorable moment and not just with Instagram.
On the matter of personal growth, I feel that small strides were made here and there but I could do so much better.

It was my first time masterminding Thanksgiving potluck and making turkey, stuffing and roasted veggies for such a large group of family. My turkey was a big hit!

When I started my diet (again) in September, my weight loss goal for New Year's Day was 20 lbs. I was a couple days early.
...and I've lost another 2 pounds since.
This is the most successful I’ve been with weight loss. I’m not done but now it no longer seems impossible to have the body I want.
Ah, and yes, there is still the wedding to plan. We will be wed in September and trying to plan this on my own has been one of my biggest challenges ever. I think it’s even harder than any journalism class I’ve ever had to take. I had hoped to have most of my vendors locked down by now but things got messy and I’m still stuck between venues and dates.

2012 was an amazing year. 2013 will be even better.
I am alienman. Writing a small blurb about myself is the hardest thing to do. "Blurb" is a funny word.

Sincere best wishes. i’m in NYC now (moved here in 2010) and haven’t been back in oregon much but the next time I make a visit i would love to see you. GOSH…I remember when I was in school in seattle and you and theCry visited, and when I met up with you in Oregon after graduating……it all seems like so long ago now..it makes me so sad….I dont feel young like that anymore….sorry I’ve not been in touch…life has been so crazy since moving here
