Fiancé took me on an impromptu date for New Year's Eve when plans with friends fell through.
Enjoying my favorite dessert, creme brulée, with a cappuccino to ensure I stay awake for the countdown. I am a big baby and don't stay out late much.
That's me going, AM I HAVING SLEEP PARALYSIS?! I fell asleep on his lap and then Bella wanted in on that snuggling action. I love how the fiancé is enjoying my pain. I also love how Bella then crammed into fiancé's lap, next to my head, and then proceeded to slap me on the face with her tail.
Christmas party at my Seattle cousins'. That's their dog I'm holding; I'm not stroking a black beard.
I feel like my life has been getting better and better, largely thanks to the wonderful friends I’ve made and the man I now get to call my fiancé.
Every time I use the word fiancé, I feel like I’m only saying it for fun. It still doesn’t sound natural but I do enjoy calling him that!
One thing I do regret about 2011 is that I didn’t put in enough effort to document the good times. I expect to have even more good times in 2012 and my resolution is to capture as much of it on film as possible and to chronicle these times, whether on this blog or somewhere else.
Some years are tougher than others but this has been a good year for me. I know this isn’t the case for everyone, so I hope 2012 proves to be a kinder twelve months for you. And for the rest of you, I hope 2012 is full of even more fun, more win and more happy
