One of my New Year’s Resolutions for 2011 is to post more frequently on GoldfishCake. This obviously means more Bella pr0n. You’d think that, after about five or so years of having the same fully grown cat, that I would have taken enough pictures of her by now.
Looking a bit miserable here, haha. Why do I find this so adorable?
In the past year, she has grown especially affectionate and more tolerant of our closeness to her. So, I’m able to take close-up photos without her retreating in annoyance. Maybe she’s given up, haha.
Bella has lately taken to snuggling in under the bedcovers. If she’s not hanging out near us, then she’s burrowed under the comforter. I found her little face showing under the covers with her nose in her tail and had to take some videos. I was surprised she’d let me get this close to take these videos.
This one’s kind of boring. She just lays in there. Skip to the next one to see some action.
I really like to watch this one over and over again. Haha. I think there’s something wrong with me T_T
We’ve switched her to wet canned food and it was ridiculously hard getting the little diva to switch. First, I had to put it on a flat plate and drop a few bits in front of her to get her to eat it. She would NOT eat a fresh can unless I dropped a few pieces in front of her first for her to taste. Afterward, she did start eating it on her own, but it still had to be out of a flat plate. The spillage would go beyond the paper towels we laid out and all over the surrounding carpet T_T Several weeks later, the little diva has finally deigned to eat out of her proper bowl. God, getting her to a vet is a whole other nightmare. Even the people at the clinic were laughing at how loud she was screaming in the back during her exams.

OMG, look at her! What a cutie! Btw, whenever I see a cat, my inner CCL kicks into overdrive. Love how she retreated into the comforter: “Mean Alienman is filming me again!”
WAAAA!!! That’s so cute!!! She’s like my boyfriend’s sister’s cat, who loves to burrow into anything and hates people… Her name is Princess…. and she won’t hesitate to bite a chunk out of your hand if your not careful. On the other hand, my cat, Momo, loves to lay on the back and fish for complements.
Haha, the love of pet owners! I love looking at pictures and videos of my bird on repeat, but no one seems to be able to understand her cuteness. Even I can see how cute Bella is, though. I love her slow blink and tucking away into her blanket tunnel in the second video!
I love your kitty. She’s so adorable! Cats with white socks are my weakness. I can’t explain it.
omg so cute. She’s like my brother’s cat, Hobbes (my brother is obviously named Calvin…)! She really likes to sleep with someone, so whenever she wants a nap, she comes to me -___-;
Whew. I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s gaga for cute kitties. I sometimes feel like my affections for her can get carried away.
Charlene: OMG Your brother’s Calvin and the cat is Hobbes?? That’s too adorable! She sounds like a real sweetheart, too. My cat usually prefers being alone when she’s sleeping but like to rest near others.

Hahaha I like the second video. She seems so shy now. Wasn’t Bella kind of mean when you first got her when she was known as Bennie? If I make no sense, it might be because I’m dreaming all this up.

She’s always been shy and, yea, when she was Bennie, she was a real bitch to me. She’s still pretty shy and scratches but it’s not nearly as bad as that first year I had her.
Bella is fricken adorable. I never get tired of how cute our kitty is at home, either. :X
what a cutie! lol i could talk about my cat all day – and MG posts almost daily photos of Minos on his facebook page =P Minos can be a messy eater when we give him wet food, but we just got a placemat to put on the floor, so (usually) any spills can get wiped off after he’s done….maybe that would work for Bella?
mayaari: Yes! i’m thinking of getting Bella her own placemat once we get back, but even then, she pushes the food around way past the bowls. If I get her a mat, it might have to be as big as a beach towel xD
