Thursday was an amazingly sunny day. It was a huge break from the awful consistently dark and cloudy (insert more depressing adjectives here) weather that we’d been experiencing since moving to Portland.
It had been a while since I'd gone all out with the eye makeup, so I thought I bring out the false lashes again.
At first, I celebrated the sun by drawing the blind (which is actually a bed sheet draped over the window because we’re ghetto like that) and browsing the internet.
Then Bella came along and hogged the computer, so I thought I’d catch the rest of the sun before it went down.
Don't you tell me there are no real birds in twitter. Just don't. I hear them tweeting. Mee yow.

So, what is this Formula D?
It was a Christmas gift, lovingly whipped up by Dao out of carefully hand-selected ingredients. It’s meant to be used as either a primer or finishing powder. I’ve been using it as a finishing powder for the past couple of weeks (a little goes a long way) and I love it!! This is just a little home project of hers, so don’t you start bombarding her with orders!

I also wanted to provide a swatch of my current favorite lipstick, NYX Round Lipstick in Narcissus. As stunning as it is, it’s definitely one of those colors I need to gather the courage to wear. I’ve worn it in public only once and I’ve felt pretty self-conscious.

How the hell did she know I've been planning on getting lower falsies?! I thought she was kidding about looking into my window from a tree outside. This is why I need to look outside my window more often.
It’d be hilarious if I turned around and MACnunu was clinging to a tree, looking into my window with binoculars. Hilarious because, well, you don’t need binoculars from that tree…. wait, what? *brushes hair back from face* AAAaaaand I am back!

Yes, wearing false lashes cause heavy folding in the eyelids. I wonder if this happens to all monolids. Anyway, that’s why I haven’t been wearing false eyelashes as often for EOTDs lately. I want to be able to prove that monolids can look good in makeup, too. That, and also because I’m really lazy
Jess, deeda: My skin is anything but flawless T_T Actually, the texture has improved but I still have a lot of dark, dark hyperpigmentation. I’m definitely not confident enough to show you pictures of a completely bare face. I feel like the camera pronounces the dark scarring even more than in real life.
