I know I always seem so mature, sophisticated and like a big sister to everyone. You’d think I had a lot of younger siblings or something. HAHAHAHAHA. O god. I couldn’t even suppress a laugh while typing that out.
Actually, you’re probably not surprised that I’m actually the youngest female of all my cousins. I’ve got cousins who are even older than my parents. They have grandkids who have to call me “grandma”, according to Korean customs. I KNOW, RIGHT?!?! So wrong on all levels.
Anyway, all my cousins treat me with such kindness and love and I’m particularly lucky that one of them lives just five minutes away. She always treats me with awesome homemade cooking when I visit and sends me home with delicious desserts. She was the one who made me this gorgeous birthday cake last June.
She and her cute little daughters presented me with an awesome Christmas gift. My cousin went out and got a bunch of glittery Sinful Colors Professional nail polish after seeing my blog. She got me these five gorgeous colors and added in some non-fiction motivational reading. Has anyone ever read the Janitor by Hopkins and Hilbert?

I wanted to wear all five but I could only get away with four, leaving the orange out. I wore them all over China Glaze Devotion, which is a metallic silver with a slight lavender tint. I then coated them with Seche Vite Fast Drying Top Coat, which everyone seems to be raving about. The result was mind-blowingly orgasmic. I’ve been drooling over Nail Junkie for a while now and it does not disappoint. The fluid itself is an ocean blue and it’s flecked with tiny gold shimmer and larger holographic glitter chunks.

I did not expect to love this color so much. Even with one coat, the shimmer and glitter chunks spread evenly and beautifully. Do you ever go out to the countryside and look up, to be bewildered by how many stars there really are out there? No? Pretend you know what I’m talking about. This is what Hottie made me feel. I was bewildered by how much sparkle and glitter were packed into each sheer blue coat.

Both of these are clear with colored glitters inside. I’m writing this sentence because writing only one sentence after a photo felt awkward. I’m like one of those people who like to hear themselves talk, except I guess, in this case, it’s more of me reading myself… write……. ok, next photo.

I love how this looks on Devotion. I would say the larger chunks are a shamrock green, with gold flecks. The green and gold are so pretty together. Makes me think of leprechaun gold.

The blue glitter in this really sparkles but I can’t seem to get a good picture of sparkles. I’d love to see how this looks under a colored jelly polish. I guess that means I’ll have to buy more polish! *sigh*
