Just get 100% Pure ACETONE (removes artifical nails and polish from natural nails) from any beauty supply, walgreens, big lots store..soak the cotton and let it sit on the nail for a few seconds and rub back and forth and..viola..glitters gone..it can be a bit drying from the acetone but it gets the polish off faster and better than the regular nailpolish removers!!

I use the seche clear base coat. I learned from spray painting things for my major that paints from the same brand work best together. Seems to hold fairly true for polishes too.

Oh, and bluehsu, you should try removing polish with felt instead of cotton. It grips the glitter bits better!

I wish there was an easier way to remove glittery polishes. It's the reason why I stopped wearing them, but seeing your pics of Medallion makes me want to go buy some. :/ I went to ULTA b/c I think they used to carry China Glaze, but I think I may have to go to a Sally - I can't remember any Sally's nearby.

laura: gah, i have tons of catching up to do on monday. let me know if u wanna get together at a cafe or some place to study

jen: i've been eyeing the seche vite for a while. i'll def. have to check it out. i do like the grainy texture of the glitter pre-topcoat, though. also, could u recommend a good base coat?
