another white hair scare

This morning, i got up and went to wash my face

and discovered a shock of white hair across my bangs

i freaked out and was horrified when it wouldn’t just wipe off

MY HAIR WHAT HAPPENED TO MY HAIR

and i was like IS THIS BECAUSE I PASSED OUT IN THE SHOWER AFTER A HOT BATH?! (btw how do you prevent that from happening?)

and i went running and crying to the boyfriend who was working in the other room “WHY IS MY HAIR WHITE WHY IS MY HAIR WHITE IS SOMETHING IN MY HAIR WHY IS IT WHITE?!?!?!?!”

and he had to take me back to the bathroom and hug me close while scraping the white out of my hair, saying, “Snuggles. It comes right off. See?”

and then he showed me the spinach-and-cream-cheese croissant he got me and all was good again

i realized afterward that the white was just residue from last night’s mint julep mask -_-

puahaha! i should put mint julep mask on my boyfriend’s hair while he sleeps then act all shocked in the morning.

i’m glad to hear other people pass out in the shower after a bath too. my solution is i don’t do baths anymore. the bruises were too nasty, you know the big, ugly ones that look like gangrene engulfing your thigh (or whatever body part you fell on that time)

that’s one reason why i don’t like taking baths – yeah you get all calm and relaxed and happy, but i NEED to shower afterwards to wash off all the bubbles/bath oils/bath salts and then i just wanna sleeeeep…glad to hear the white hairs were only temporary =P

Ha. Okay yeah, so I totally passed out after a bath too… except my blood pressure dropped so low that I had a pseudo-seizure (not a real seizure, the body just looks like it to get the blood flowing again) and threw up. :P

I no longer take long baths. Have preferred to mostly avoid them after that, actually!

Oh, and you can prevent that from happening by making sure you are well hydrated. Drink lots of water before you bathe and don’t bathe for longer than 15 mins or so. :)

HA!!!!! LOL!! Is it cruel of me to be laughing at your crisis moment?! Maybe… but IT’S JUST TOO FUNNY!! LOL! But how sweet of Z to buy you a spinach & cream cheese croissant. Dammit that sounds good.. I want one now..

And girl I’ve had premature white hair since I was 11! It’s from my dad… The joys of genetics! ;)
