This is my second nail polish by NYX. Again, NYX does not disappoint. Whether it’s eye shadows, eyeliners, blush, lipstick, etc… every single NYX product I’ve tried has proved to be a great low-cost substitute for high end brands.
Pros:
Great deal. It’s only $3.50 + shipping at CherryCulture.
Great consistency. No lumpiness, no streaks, no clumping.
Gorgeous colors! I think I like this color more than NYX Juliet. I especially like wearing it on my toes to go with my gold-and-silver strappy gladiator sandals.
With a base coat and top coat, this will last a long time.
Cons:
Suxorz if there is no NYX vendor near you, as is the case with me.
My bottle came with a weird angled brush that made it kind of hard to apply. The Juliet didn’t have this problem. I guess it’s a defect but it’s not so bad that I want to exchange or return it.
Overall:
While I’m too much of a tightwad to buy nail polish again anytime soon, I’m looking forward to buying more NYX nail polish than any other brand, mainly because they’re so cheap but great in quality. A+!
BTW Does this ever happen to you? If I don’t pee just before applying nail polish, then I end up urgently having to go while my nails are drying. It never fails.

I don’t experience the peeing phenomenon but usually I end up getting a stomach ache and clench everything tightly until it’s safe to take a poo. Must be some sort of manicure anxiety.
Do you know it all the NYX nail polishes generally have that shimmery-ness to them? I tend to use the “creme” style nail polishes (glossy, but solid and no shimmer) and can’t tell from the Cherry Culture swatches if they all have it or not.
(Also, a long time ago, perhaps before you migrated your blog to wordpress you linked to an amazing sigur ros music video. Could you link it again by any chance?)
Mary: LOL maybe my peeing phenomenon is also a form of manicure anxiety. Perhaps knowing that I can’t go to pee while I wait for it to dry makes me want to pee LOL.
Seems like most cheaper brands come in all shimmery colors. I wonder why that is? I’m dying to try a Zoya matte! Have you tried those, yet??

When I do paint my own nails.. which is RARE.. I usually have that same issue. Or I push back my hair and….. well you know! LOL!

gorgeous color! i like rocking the funkier colors on my toes now that i’m all corporate..although i’ve got CG’s For Audrey on my hands now and I really don’t want to take it off just yet, haha
the peeing thing ALWAYS happens to me when I do my nails! either that, or I do them right before bed and they feel like they’ve dried completely so I go to sleep…and wake up with hatchmarks from my sheets in the morning.
