Some of you might have noticed that a couple of posts and some comments have disappeared. That’s cuz these particular posts failed to sing praise and worship for the Great Being that I am and while I could have probably used my super alien powers to disintegrate you infidels into dust, I decided to show mercy and delete some posts and comments and give you guys another chance. For I may be a jealous Great Being but I am also merciful.

Actually, what happened was that we switched over to a new server but not everything made it to the other side. I was like, "NOOOO HERE! Take my hand!" and they were like, "Cough It’s too late! Save yourself! Go on without me…”
You can tell I’m on a combination of sugar high and wine buzz right now.
You guys know that I’m not the type who normally does a nude lip and smoky eye. I’m more inclined to do bright lips and colorful eye shadows. I’ve done a few failed attempts at the smoky eye, too, looking more like I was punched in the eyes and then cross-mutated with a panda bear.
I wanted to change things up a bit. I hadn’t worn makeup in a while and I wanted to look different from my usual makeup style. So, I opted for a smoky eye and nude lip.

As you can see, even the false lashes style is different from my usual normal criss-crosses.

Those lashes look prettie on you! I’ve never seen a style like that before! I have to be careful cuz so many lashes make me look like a tranny (because I have a tendancy to look like a malasian boi) lol!

Nude lip + smokey eye is my staple look (it’s a little dramatic for daytime but I do mine slightly more subtle than usual). Great look! Glad to see that you’re doing makeup posts again =]

berry berry noice! i always end up making my eyes look a little smoky whenever i stray from a neutral/brown shade…dunno how that happens, but it does, lol. i like the shisems – they’re different from the crossed ones, but they look good. i need more practice with lashes…need to find your old tutorial on applying them!

We can find Maybelline, L’oreal, Nivea, Rimmel, Bourjois, Revlon, Arcancil, T.Leclerc… However there isn’t a great deal! For instance Covergirl and Max factor products aren’t sold too and only some Rimmel products are available in France.
I don’t think you’re missing out on a whole lot from CoverGirl, hehe. We don’t have Nivea here, and I’ve never even heard of Arcancil!
I’m sure you can improvise with whatever products you can find, though. I’m just a big fan of cheap makeup that give good results.
