Here are photos I’ve been meaning to share. I can’t believe I forgot about it.
My cousin made me this amazing cake for my birthday.
Cooking is a hobby of hers and I get to enjoy the benefits of having her live so close by.

My god, this has got to be the best cake I have ever tasted. The moist fluffy cake, the light cream that melts into milk in your mouth, the generous peach slices hidden inside like edible treasure, the underwhelming sweetness that makes it easy to eat large amounts… Just thinking about it makes my tongue swim.
I will have to ask for the recipe. I wonder if she used yogurt. It made me sad that something so beautiful and so delicious could not last forever.

Thank you for the wonderful cake, Unni!!!

OMG, the cake is so pretty! I want some! Are the flowers edible, too? I love the new layout, girlfriend!
Naw, the flowers weren’t meant to be eaten. Tho’ that would have been awesome.
Mmmm… Peach cake!!! It does look gorgeously YUMMY!!! Dang… the pics are making me hungry!! I want your cousin to make cake for me too! LOL!
omg, that’s a gorgeous cake. That it tastes delicious is a benefit that you get to enjoy. sounds magnificent and a great way to celebrate your birthday!
I miss moist cakes. They’re not so common in Japan. So I eat macarons instead
kuri: moist cakes aren’t common in Japan? I didn’t know that! Macaroons are so gooood. You make me crave one.
wow it looks really yummy!
they do exist, but I’ve only found a few. Drier sponge cakes are much more common. Macarons are really good but sometimes I want moist, buttery cake…
Man..too bad the flowers aren’t edible. hehe. Next time..make it edible! muhaha.
hahaha. want me to put honey on the petals?
