I’ve done that to Denis before. We had just watched that episode of South Park where the Canadians go on strike, and he was taking a shower. I heard him musing to himself, “… I’m not your friend, buddy!…”. He thought I couldn’t hear him, but I opened the door to the bathroom and stuck my head in and shouted:
“I AIN’T YOUR BUDDY, PAL!”
Look on his face was priceless. “Wha– how— HOW DID YOU KNOW I WAS THINKING THAT? GET OUT OF MY HEAD!”
(To this day I haven’t told him that I had actually heard him through the door.)

Joe’s used to be G.I. Joe’s. It’s a sporting goods and outdoor gear store. I never liked that store anyway. What really concerned me was that they had a shuttle bus that went to the Willamette Pass on the weekends and we took that to go snowboarding. It was super convenient because the Joe’s is a five-minute walking distance from our house and the shuttle was cheap. I hope the shuttle doesn’t get canceled!
