We get so sad when the blossoms fall.
I have nothing to share w/u guys, so here’s an anecdote from a while back.
Back when my family lived here in town, they wanted to go to Red Lobster to celebrate my dad’s birthday. I guess they saw a commercial on TV and my dad wanted to eat lobster. However, I had never come across a Red Lobster in Eugene.
Via Google, I find that there’s a phone number to a Red Lobster in Eugene but I suspect it’s been closed for some time.
I call the number and a man picks up.
Man: Rrrred Lobsterr!
Me: o_O… (I’m stunned and start stammering) I..uh… there’s a Red Lobster in Eugene?
Man: There was, but they’ve been closed for some time now.
Me:… so… you’re not Red Lobster?
Man: Nope! I just have their old phone number and I’m just yanking yer chain!
Me: -__- *sarcastically* A. HA. HA. HA. HA! Yer a FUNNY GUY!! ARENCHA?!
Man: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Those cherry blossoms are beautiful! I love spring, even though my eye bags go into orbit!!
I once stayed at this nice cheap motel in Eugene (we had to stop because it was dark and raining so hard you could barely see anything!). I wondered why it was so cheap–the I sat down on the toilet, and it and the entire room started to vibrate…it was right next to the railroad tracks which were not visible in the dark!
Oh well, it was only one night…but I know what you mean about Eugene!

OMG, Rrrred Lobster! I think one of my cousins got AT&T’s old number, she kept on saying “AT&T, how can I help you?” whenever somebody called her.
