Explicit Language Used (I know, I know, I vowed I’d stop swearing but I YAM SO MADDDDD!!!!)

Hey, remember back in 2007 when AT&TSCAM tried to pull a fast one on me on international calls that THEY SHOULD NEVER HAVE CHARGED ME BECAUSE I MADE THEM ON A PHONE CARD?!*
Holy fucking shit, they DID IT AGAIN. To make things dandier, by Monday, there’s going to be a nice little overdraft fee additionally taken off because their bill was so outrageously high that it managed to take away ever dime I had in my bank account. So, now I’m going to have to demand that they reimburse me AND I’m going to have to demand that they reimburse the overdraft fees if my bank is not willing to remove them. So, that just going to be a whole mess of phone calls and transfers I’ll have to go through.
I’m seriously not looking forward to this because I had to call AT&TSCAM last month and the month before, on behalf of my family who can’t speak any useful English, and I was on the phone for hours each time. They just kept transferring me from one person to another, making me argue with them over and over again until I got tired of speaking.
And that’s exactly how they play their game.
They just keep you on the phone with about 20 different completely helpless people who are powerless to help you in any way but are unable to transfer you to someone who has any power to help you in the least. They just want you to exhaust yourself on the phone until you eventually give up.
Last time, I did manage to get them to reimburse me for those unwarranted charges. When I got on the phone with them today, they told me their system was updating and they couldn’t access my account, so one of us would have to get back with the other tomorrow. HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT KNOWING I HAVE A NEGATIVE IN MY BANK ACCOUNT?!?!?!?! OMG I AM GOING TO SUE THE LIFE OUT OF YOU AT&TSCAM
Don’t even tell me that VerizonRIPOFF or SprintRUDE is any better as a carrier. They’re all the fucking same. T-Mobile gets lousy reception around here.
By the time my contract is up, an iPod Touch with Skype installed should be all I need.

OMG I know how much of a hassle it can be to call ATT! I was charged $400 dollars for using the internet on my phone with a unlimited data plan I might add. BUT they told me that I started using the internet before my data plan was activated, how the hell was I suppose to know that???…they only reimbursed me half of the 400 dollars!
Gawd woman! WTF?! I hope they reimburse you for every penny! If not threaten to lawsuit up on their ass! As a company they shouldn’t be doing their business like that! No matter how big a conglomerate they are!

awww I hope it all gets fixed soon! Thats insane that they could pull money from your acc to the point of overdraft and not do anything about it.
I know how you feel.. they kept charging my boyfriend and I (family plan) for internet even though we had its DISABLED.. like you literally couldnt even access the interent on either of our phones, so my boyfriend called and and the chick that helped us told him to hold a minute. AND STARTED TALKING SHIT.. hes was like uhh I can here you and then she transfered him to someone else, I can’t stand AT&T or cell phone companies in general..

Oy. I use AT&T but thankfully never had any problems with their customer service for some reason. (Knock on wood)
This situation sounds awful though, hope you get your refund. Cell phone rules can be tricky, I really hate it.

I can’t believe AT&T did that to you twice!! Argh. My DSL is from AT&T and it sucks, their customer service absolutely sucks, whenever I have any problem with my internet it takes me forever to get through to someone, and when I moved to a different address and had to move my service with me, it took a whole month of calling and talking to idiots just to actually speak to someone that could help me. So sorry to hear about your experience
Oh shat. I am praying that you get every penny plus more back. WTF AT&T? I work at an overseas carrier, and we have several joint data transmission circuits with AT&T….even their engineers are pretty much useless. You ask them to troubleshoot, and they give you an attitude until you finally find yourself begging them to help you, or stark raving mad, banging your headset against the desk. Yes, they SUCK.
