Fun with Sculpey

This past few weeks, I had been obsessed about getting some polymer clay and making my own miniature character toys. What am I, 9 years old? =_=;;;; I finally caved in and got some phosphorescent Sculpey and a small wooden modeling set.  I also picked up some origami paper and tried to make a koi but that came out horribly wrong. That’s another story, though, for another time.

You might recognize my first creation. It’s my very first time handling polymer clay, so I had a pretty hard time with it. I also worry that a large number of perverts might misunderstand what’s coming out of my mini-me’s mouth -_-
She can’t stand up by herself and needs to be propped up on my rings -_-

Today, I made a forlorn piggy. I call him forlorn piggy. That’s its name, but it is written in lower-case to emphasize just how forlorn the guy is.

The boyfriend took a couple pictures before I baked forlorn piggy.

Final product: Drew eyes and baked him for half an hour. Sorry, these were taken with my Blackberry.

forlorn piggy is adorable! I went through similar phase a couple years ago… I made a green dinosaur, and that was the end of my polymer clay modeling experience. I’m not a very good sculptor.

forlorn piggy is too cute! I used to have a pig figurine on my monitor…until I lost it during one of my college moves. That origami koi looks like it would take a whoooole lot of folding. I can fold up a crane or those little paper stars with my eyes closed, haha
