Although this was just an experimental look, several of you asked questions about what products I used for this look. So, here it is:
Products used:
a,b,c – NYX eyeshadow trio in Sahara, Suede and Chocolate
- Sahara on browbone and highlights
- Suede lightly all over lid
- Chocolate was not used for this look
d,e – NARS duo in Rated R
- Blue on outer third of eyelid
- the green was not used for this look
f – NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Yellow
- a small dash of this was applied just below the wing, right outside the outer corner of eye
g – MAC eyeshadow in Flashtrack
- Outer third of lower rim, extended out to make a long dramatic wing
h – MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack
- I could be wrong about this. It was either this or Prestige Eyeliner in Azure. Maybe it was both.
i – Urban Decay Primer Potion (scooped into mineral makeup sample jar)
Not shown: CoverGirl Lash Blast mascara
I took pix of this step by step to make a tutorial but decided against this at the last minute. Let me know if you guys want a tutorial on anything, though. I was surprised that so many of you voted Yes for tutorials!

TUTORIAL: All images can be clicked for better viewing but click at your own risk. Enlarged pores and hair follicles are never pretty to look at.
Sweep NYX Suede on browbone to highlight. If your skintone is much lighter than mine, you’ll of course need a much lighter shade.
Lightly cover entire upper lid with NYX Sahara.
This is where the streak happens with MAC Flashtrack, and it might be a bit tricky especially since I SUCK at explaining things. Using an angled shadow brush, start at the outer third of your lower lash line. You will continue to extend this line until it reaches your desired wing length. NOTE: There is no need to do it all in one sweep. It might be easier to start with a much shorter wing, then go over the wing again but going longer each time. Just remember to keep the end of every brush stroke very light, even if you start it heavy, and ALWAYS start the brush stroke where you originally started it – at the end of your lash line.
Since that last explanation pretty much sucked, I really hope it helps to just look at this picture -_-
Apply the blue from NARS Rated R on the outer corner. To make this blend better, start at the outer corner then lightly sweep inward.
Same color, but this time brought in from outer lower lash line until halfway.
NYX Suede to highlight inner corner and around tear duct.
MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack applied as normal on upper lash line. Nowadays, I never go over the entire lashline. For a fatty monolid, there is no point. Don’t even get me started on why I refuse to do heavier eyeliner. I usually start out at the outer half or outer third b/c it does show up there. For this look, it’s only winged out a very teensy bit, if at all.
Same eyeliner on outer half of lower lashline. Start very close to lash line but slowly taper off as you progress outwards, then curve it back in. This has to be very subtle and thin.
Curl lashes. Apply BETTER mascara THAN MINE.

I am alienman. Writing a small blurb about myself is the hardest thing to do. "Blurb" is a funny word.
